Hands Helping History

A volunteer initiative of the Historical Society of Upper St. Clair bringing many hands together helping to preserve the history of Gilfillan Farm and Western Pennslvania farm life. Many hands make light work.

In 2001, Margaret Gilfillan left the Gilfillan Farm, 15 acres of land and farm buildings, in the hands of the Historical Society of Upper St. Clair. Many volunteers have come together and are helping to make Gilfillan Farm a community resource for farming culture and education. The mission is to preserve the Gilfillan legacy and history of Western Pennsylvania farm life for future generations.

Interested volunteers can join the many hands helping history at Gilfillan Farm. Not only is there plenty of work to be done, but there is a variety of areas in which your helping hands can be used. We would also love to hear your ideas for helping to preserve this history. Please complete the inquiry form below.
